weak clutch pressure
Hello everyone im a newbie here, well heres my first question.
i have just change my Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder 2 weeks ago. yesterday as i was driving i felt that im loosing pressure on my clutch pedal. ive bled it twice today in sets of 10 pumps. i dont see any leaks from the slave cylinder or the clutch master cylinder. today as i was coming home from shucks i feel almost no pressure at all and when i step on the pedal its already close to the floor.
any suggestion what it might be? ive looked at some related issue and tried the same remedy. my car is a Civic 94 vtec. thanks

Re: weak clutch pressure (japormz)
I've heard of having to bleed these before you even put them on or something like a brake booster, but im not sure. Have you checked for leaks? It could also be a bad one if you didnt get it from honda. Some auto parts stores get batches of bad replacement parts.

Re: weak clutch pressure (z6hatchboy)
Yeah ive been looking for leaks but i see none at all my reservoir is still full. should i have to change the hose that connects the reservoir to the Cluthc cylinder? im thinking it might be my clutch it self, how would i know if my clucth needs to be replace?

Re: weak clutch pressure (EKway2low)
1. clutch pedal down, open valve.
2. close valve, bring the pedal back up.
3. repeat
easy as 1-2-3 just make sure ur reservoir is always full and doesnt go empty or ur just wasting ur time.
