This is way off topic but Ive always wondered... ?
What is overdrive... what purpose does it serve... and is there a time when its better to use it and not to use it or anything like that ???

Well overdrive is a finial gear in your transmission that you shift into at higher speeds , like highway speeds . Using overdrive is at your own disgression . It only helps in giving improved fuel economy .
