Ok what if I use the Y8 thermostat housing and waterneck? I have my old blowen up Y8 and now I am swapping things out on my Z6 I am putting in there. I noticed there are 2 nipples on the thermostat housing which one does this air injection hook up too?

There is no nipple you hook the air-injectio up to. There is a thermal switch that screws into the thermostat housing.

That thermal switch has the two nipples for the air lines, one to the air intake and one to the manifold.

aww see what happens when i take a break for awhile and come back, someone is talking shhhiit....

im not scared, i have a dual cam block im getting ready to build, its just the next logical progression, but i will always have the D-series on my mind...you just scared that the SOHC might Beat your DOHC....

hmm one less cam
must be lighter
less parts to move
less things to BREAK
less tunability
less flow
ohh wait im talking shiiiit now

but you have to remember, whats crazier, seing one more B-series, bored and stroked and making power of course.....

or seeing the lonley D series, Massaged, built, tunned, and beautiful, making power that people did not think possible from a d-series. now thats crazy, that gets my respect, cause that takes tallent, takes some knowledge. its not just something that everyone else is doing, its something different, thats what this sport is about right, doing something different.(i wonder if i used enough comma's)

but dont underestimate the underdog

it will bite you in the ***.......HAAHHA

ok sorry guys been out working on the car for the past couple days, and been to tired to hope onto honda-tech...

ok ill try to answer all the questions

1. Yes you ahve to plug all of them, maybe the one on the top of the flange is overkill, but i would do it...but you do have to plug the four over the injectors

2. From what someone said above they had to grind down the manifold flange because it was too tall to fit on the earlier gen d series head, but this is what i heard in here i have yet to do this so i cant say for sure..

3. I have been having some IAC valve problems, so about every 3 days i have been getting a check engine light for running to rich, so im not sure if i have gained anything from it....it feels as though it pulls harder top end.... but it also feels as if its losing midrange....but my setup i not like everyone else's, i still have to get a new fitting so i can mount up my aem fuel rail and regulator....but so far im worried that my ported y7 manifold may flow better...hahahah....live and learn.......maybe when i FINALLY get the turbo on it will be different but i got to fix the other problems to get a good idea of the gains....

the main reason why i did this swap in the first place is because im very interested in the Skunk2 manifold WHENEVER it ACTUALLY comes out...so i wanted to do this swap first and work out the kinks, then get the new one, send it off to get ported and massaged to flowing goodness.....

when i did my swap i didnt realize that the gasket behind the tps had a slight tare in it. My car was idling like **** so i busted out the carb cleaner and thats how i discovered it. So just dont over look the gasket when u do the swap thats all.
