Default Wanting an EG. My GF wrecked her GSR.

My gf has a 96 GSR 4 door, and wrecked it last weekend driving in the rain. The front end and the rear both hit the guardrails. The sides are ok, just the front and the rear a fucked. The driver side Frame Rail bent to where it hit the AC compressor. The rear QuaterPanel is all shitted. Man, I cant decide if we should fix the car or what.
Since she paid cash for the car, she didn't have full coverage. Insurance isn't going to cover it. I don't really know what to do. She still wants a 4 door integra. But doesn't want a car that has frame damage. The engine is still running great but I don't really want to part out the car. If anything, I would like to get the **** and put it in an EG. But there's a part of me that thinks that is selfish. It wouldn't make a **** to her if she had a ls, gsr, or gs. She just wants a 4 door teg. I wonder what we could get for the car if it didn't have the engine, harness, ecu and trannie.

I currently own an 88 CRX Si thats really nice but I would love to have an EG with all the GSR goodies. Which EG is the best to get if I was going to use all of the GSR parts from her 96 sedan? Im probably going to go this route and just buy her a teg GS in exchange for the wrecked GSR. I have seen decent GS/LS models on the net for ~$3,500.

What should I do? I really dont want to sell the parts to anyone so, please dont suggest that. :@

personally i would go the eg route, just rip out the inside (dash, seats, etc) and put it in the eg. then just simply swap out the motor, tranny, etc from the teg to the eg. therefore you simply have a teg within an eg. plus you can beat about any honda's out there with your hybrid!!

That Crx would be QUICK with that motor in it, but your right an EG is a better choice for all your swapping needs...

If you want lux pick up an SI Hatchback, if you want to go fast get a VX or CX (92 perfered for that nice easy wiring)

Take of the front and back brakes on the GSR swap those over to the EG and you got the prop valve and everything

GSR motor, Brakes, Seats in a EG

put it in a 93-95 ex coupe, already vtec wired, sunroof, comes with an ecu that you can get chipped since the 96 ecu will not work. Everything else will bolt up.
