i need help tring to find a voltage regulator. on my 93 del sol its got a d16z6

I don't know if anyone sells voltage regulators separetely. You can try rockauto.com. You might have to buy a new/rebuilt alternator.

From what I understand (on the 96-00 Civic anyway) the regulator is in the alternator and it is not sold separately. When mine went out on my 98 Civic I had to buy a whole new alternator.

Your voltage regulator is inside your alternator. They stopped the external regulators by the mid 80's for most cars. Now they are internal, which means you need to purchase another alternator. Your still lucky, since newer models now have them inside the ECU. Good luck for the owners of those model$.
