viper 791xv owners...
does anybody know the range of the viper 791xv? i have this alarm but the range doesnt really satisfy me. is there a way to help increase the distance? like extra antenna or something?

see if you can add another battery.. i know that the new G5 alarms have two transmitter batteries. which make it have a longer range... not familiar with the battery used on the viper...

i think the website says like close to 6000 feet, but I know thats a freaking lie.. maybe it would work if there was no interference whatsoever. All you can really do to increase th range is to move the antenna to the best spot, just move it to different places until you find a really good one.
