so i just bought this 94 vx hatch and fors some dumbass reason i didn't check the vin number on the car, well i went to do that this morning and its not there! it looks like it was pulled off! so my question is where are there more vin numbers that i can cross reference and check? thanks

oh and if someone could please run a carfax report for me the vin on the registration is 2HGEH2376RH523066 i know its salvaged but i wanna make sure its not stolen or anything.

Vins can be found on the engine next to the block number, inside on the fenders when you pop the hood, etched on the windows, and inside the door jam on the white sticker.

hey thanks, its swapped so no vin there. how can you tell if its a jdm engine? they don't have any numbers after the last letter and usdm ones do right?

ok so now i can't find any of em. where exactly is the one on the fender? i looked on my other car too and couldn't find it.

if i beleive corectly hondas before 1996 only had vin numbers on teh FIREWALL and the dashboard and also the doorjam in sticker form. and thats it. hondas 1996 and above had every body piece stickered with a VIN stick. hood, fenders, trunk, door jam, block and tranny and the doors them selves. so if u have a 1995 and below honda the only place ur gonna fine the VIN is the firewall and dashboard and door jam. if the one on the firewall is missing or tampered with be worried.
