Default valve stem seal questiona

so I'm changing my valve stem seals today using Air to hold the valve up

I just did 1 and 4, can I turn the crankshaft with since the rockers are off to bring 2 and 3 pistons up to tdc.

another question is when I put air on to do cyl #4 (50 psi for air pressure)
the cam rotated and shifted to the side a little about 1/8"

when I was done I brought it back to tdc and shifted the cam back to where I thought it should be....

is this normal or is ok, just dont want any suprises when I put it back together

thanks,,

Hey man, In order to remove the valve seals, you need to take the rockers. When the valves still have the spring without rockers all are closed, so you can spin the crank in whatever position you need!!!

thanks but I figured it out

now for the cam,, should it be tight on the left against the distributor connection

or is it suppose to float and when I put the rockers back on it will position itself
