Default valve lash conflict!!

I recently purchased a 92 EG sedan and it is in need of a valve adjustment

Upon searching i have found the clearances for the d15b7 are anywhere from .004 to .008 intake and .007 to .011 on the exhaust.

Heres my dilemma:

On the underside of the hood, the sticker from the factory states that the lash should be set at .002 intake and exhaust????(its the original motor/hood so im assuming this sticker is for this motor)

Can anyone help me resolve this? Thx!!!

there is a range

intake .007 - .009
exhaust .009 - .011

i just always pick the center of the two, and i usually adjust mine just a hair too tight, so im probably around the .007 and .009 range as well

i was alwasy told to either pick a number in the middle or the lowest....
and i think your right that most singles have the same clearence.
