valve cover question...
okay my valve cover could be having better days, the original finish on it is coming off now i would like to take the rest of it off what is the easiest way, take the thing off and sand blast it, or good ole elbo grease with a steel brush i will plan on using wrinkle paint afterwards.

I like the steel wool. I did the wrinkle paint on my old one and it never even showed signs of coming off or fading and I halfassed the cleaning process.

They might, you find it more at PepBoys or something.

Its no more than 8 bux a can and yes, i would take the cover off. If you search for archived stuff about polishing and other things of the like you will find good information.
