Valve Cover Oxidation Removal?
does anyone know how to remove oxidation off of a valve cover? Mines cracked and the new one i have has quite a bit of oxidation. I was going to try use aircraft stripper but couldn't get the rubber gaskets off the spark plug holes and idk if the stripper will eat up the rubber. Was thinking maybe dremel, but it would scratch it up. Any suggestions?
And I don't have time to get it sand blasted so that is out

In my experience the aircraft stripper does not hurt rubber seals. Maybe I just got lucky, but I've definately slopped it on valve covers without removing the seals before and I have yet to get one that leaks on me afterwards.

Yes, Aircraft Stripper strips it down to the bare metal. ALL the way down.
