yeah, no boost. when you say leak, would a IACV cause this? is there anyway to clean it.

Cleaning it won't affect the leak... if it's leaking it's on loose... if it's dirty it will be clogged and your idle will surge.

well frankly I"m not sure... I think that you're not supposed to use carb cleaner but I always do... and mine only went a couple weeks ago with 215k miles on the car.
If you have access to a compressor just try to blow out the soot... but I'd just give it a quick shot of carb cleaner and make sure it all dripped out and gave it time to evaporate off before re-installing.
