Valve adjustment help please
I just installed a street/strip CompCam on my D16 VTEC and needed help adjusting the tapets (i think that's they're it's called) for the difference. I adjusted it back to stock, but i think it's still to far because of the noise. Would anyone happen to know the gaps that would work best? Or if you any, suggestions on what to do would help...thanx

those are the stock specs, lash should be the same with the zex as w/ stock.
BTW .010 is still with in spec
spec is .07-.09 intake
.09-.011 exhaust

Re: Valve adjustment help please (DragII)
Well it's supposed to work with and on stock settings (i believe), but what i'm worried about is the noise from the valves being slammed down. In other words, it .007/.009 going to quite it down.

not really, it's within spec now from what you say...IMO, it's not worth the effort to tighten em up down to .007 and .009
