What if I wanted to relocate mine and disconnected it from the hareness, does it still retian the info? Thanks

Like stated above. It holds its settings untill you intialize. So even if you unhooked it, put it in a box, shipped it to africa, put it in a attic for 3 years, and reconnected it, the settings would still not change.
