Default VAFC (a good place to mount it )

where is a good place to mount the VAFC on an EK ? any pics where you guys have it at ?

move the stereo down low, and mount the vafc where you can see it.

theives can see it there too. i prefer the idea down by the cupholders, then just cover it with the flip up lid.

the only problem is that the vafc isn't fluch mounted, and i like being able to use my cupholders.

*edit* although you cannot see it in that pic, my stereo is flush mounted in front of the cupholders.

the only other thing to think about is how often and where you leave your car. i have a company vehicle, so i can leave my car in the comfort of my driveway all day without worrying about theives.

i have also seen people put them inside the driver side visor. So when the visor is up you cant tell its in there.

I've seen this on a couple cars before and it turns out pretty nice!! I wouldn't want it sitting out in plain view all the time. Maybe have a mounting place set up and just leave the unit itself in the dash until I need to be watching it, or using it for tuning, then I would set it up on the mount thing which would be either above the cup holders, or in the stock radio location.

Those are some good places to put a VAF-C, but does anyone have anymore pics. of it mounted in an 92-95 hatchcrap!? ;}
