v-tec kicks in?
after i finished my mini-me swap y7/y8 the vtec would kick in 4800-5000 rpm (no joke) the sound of the vtec was loud and nice!
after sitting on the shop for couple moths for the paint job, now the vtec is only loud in 6k or can't hear at all.
what could have happened?

Re: v-tec kicks in?
cut out your resonator and blow out all the fiberglass in your muffler and it'll be loud again.
my b16 is way louder then my friends D is and his is much more built then mine.

i never had a resonator! that's for pansies. generally, a single cam 1.6 isn't going to be that loud...

Re: v-tec kicks in?
you simply get used to the sound and over time start to ignore it.
edit: neither one of those vids were "loud vtec" the second video is just a loud car
