V-tec controler location what would be a good place to mount it in a 92-95 Honda civic hatchback? What place would make it look flush and reliable?

Hidden away somewhere inside the car. Maybe behind the dash? Or just buy the proper ecu and be done with it.

How are you gonna control the extra fuel when vtec engages??? Otherwise you are gonna just have noise and no extra speed.

yes...take advice from everyone that said not to use it...i'm not sure how knowledgeable you are about what is needed for tuning, but i just hope you didnt get it just so you can lower vtec engagement because you think it would make your car faster....tuning is a science and many things are needed to change which a vtec controller isnt really compatible enough for, well, that is, if you wanted to do things right and extricate as much power you can...but i know everyone is bashing you about this topic, but since you have the vtec controller already, i like the idea of installing it in the glove box--just convert the glove box so it will fit flush so when you open it, it will look nice if you wanted to keep it open while you are driving...just make sure you tune it and use all the features it has

Yea thanks alot. I had that idea already in mind From experience i know vtec controlers are somewhat useless, but for squeezing and extra six to five horsepower and getting it tunned+dynoed/tuned/tweaked out its worth. In the firstplace it looked like a Rice gadget, but whats to loose? LOL I got it for cheap and anyway what you got to loose if you get a VAFC for just free? Alot of dirt toss it in the rubbish can Sure

How about in the trash can? Stop wasting your money on some lame electonic stuff that won't do anything to enhance the performance of your car. Even if you set your VTEC engagement point to 2500rpm, it won't do a d*mn thing.

seriously, don't put a VTEC controller until you have known how to spell the technology
