URGENT-h22a ej8 linkages
guys/girls,
tried searching but to no news ANYWHERE of this problem
iv just done a h swap in my ej8(ek) audm and the h22a is SiR motor from a jap accord.. linkage(up, down mover) in that was sheared and causing it to slip out of the sleeve and not line up correctly. I went to replace it with linkages from a h22 out of a prelude i noticed they were about an inch longer then my original accord one. put it in anyway and found that it would not extend the linkage enough to allow it to push the gears in.
what do i do? there are NO h22a accords in aus to get linkages from so i need to know do the f20/f22 gearboxes use the same as the h22a thus allowing me to use these linkages??

Re: URGENT-h22a ej8 linkages
i called honda today. accords have two types of linkages in there audm models(f22 engine) first is 54115 sm4 020. this is also shared with the vtir preludes (up to 97).
then there is another type 54115 sv4 000. only found in accord
can anybody tell me a difference in the two?
