URGENT ~ HELP!! Do I need a Non ABS Booster for my rear disc
Hey guys, did the rear disc brake swap on an EG and the brakes locked up. RS MC/ GSR BB/ DA Prop Valve.
Trying to see if i need to get a non abs brake booster, or if i can adjust the screw on the current one.
Need the car running so i can go to work tomorrow. any help would be appreciated.

Okay, I'm a bit lost
Since your'e saying "do I need a non-abs booster" I'm assuming you installed non-ABS brakes?
Now the calipers are LOCKED? Or just closd? It takes a lot of pressure to lock disc brakes with a handle (unless you pound on'em), they're not like drums.
You should be able to adjust the screw to lighten the pressure but I don't know all the ins and outs about honda brake boosters/prop valves/cylindners (what is what means X to me). Though it simply sounds like too much pressure. Try loosening the screw and see if it frees them up a bit, if it doesn't, you may need a smaller booster. The ABS booster is bigger if I'm not mistaken..
Ahh I'm sorry if I'm not much help, I don't know much about the #'s of brake systems ..
Though try adjusting the screw, it should be able to losen the pressure on the discs ... if that is what is actually causing them to close...did you change any other parts? Prop valve or anything?

Re: (shyboi4u)
i changed the prop valve to a 40/40. i already released the pressure by releasing the lines on the MC. but would i be wasting my time loosening the bolt and then re bleeding only to find out i need the non abs booster?
there is an adjusting nut where the pedal and booster connect.

Re: (Touch)
Also, when i say locked i mean. the brakes were grabbing the rotors with no pressure on the pedal. they were just rock solid. car wouldn't move.
