I been googling and reading page after page and getting mixed answers about the (Upper Ball Joint) replacement, maybe someone here knows the direct answer to my question.

Do I have to replace the whole upper arm in order to replace the upper ball joint?, or is there a way to replace just the upper ball joint?.

You replace the whole arm.

Go ahead and get genuine Honda.

I tried to save a buck once with aftermarket ones. 6 months later I was putting on the Honda parts.

you can replace just the ball joint, but that area of the arm likes to bend and if it does get bent just the slightest bit, the new ball joint is a pita to get in. it's WAY easier and faster to just replace the whole arm.
