Default 97 del sol si, d16y8. no start.

A month ago, my battery was CAKED with corrosion and wouldn't start. I deep cleaned connections and car would start up GREAT after that. Terminals never corroded again. Then, randomly on wednesday, i tried to start it up before work, dashlights blinked and died, car wouldn't start. I tried to start it the next day, nothing. Decided to take battery to autozone to test, they told me it was 90% charged and it was good. Took it home and tried to jump it to make sure, nothing... no crank, no click... NOTHING. Tapped on the starter as well. Nothing. Checked fuses in the hood for ignition and starter fuse in the kick panel... all good.

any ideas?

Clean/check connections at trans ground, g101 (thermostat ground), positive connection from battery to starter and report back.

as i can see from your video you have no lamps when the key is at on (check) place.

if this is the problem than it seems you have no voltage from battery.

turn your key to on place. Do you see lamps lighting on the the instrument panel?

Youre correct. No lights, no sounds.

1. battery unpluged-or bad contact
2. battery low voltage
3. engine main ground is unpluged
4. short circuit

i suggest you to check the above at given sequence

Clean and tighten the battery ground connected to the chassis.

Also check the 80A hood fuse.

Checked 80A fuse, hoped it was the culprit, but it was good.

all fuses were 0.
battery was 12.4v.
battery cables/grounds have been upgraded to 4 gauge except the positive battery cable power to fuse box (which looks flimsy and thin, corroded) and transmission. Transmission cable looks great.

Positive battery cable to fuse box...

its difficult to make all these new connections. you must have the wirings diagram, better get a used wire from an exactly same model as yours and replace it...
