Default Upgrading to an ex or dx cluster in an EG...

I am looking to buy one(ex/si cluster) off the net and I noticed some of them come with wires plugged into them already and some do not. My question is do all eg's have the stock wiring to just plug straight into the cluster or do you need the previous wiring plugs from the old ex/si car to wire the cluster into your tachless car.?

Your stock wiring will do just fine.

You just need the cluster. all of the plugs will plug right in. Also, you may want to swap out the speedometer/odometer assembly from your original cluster so that the car will still read it's actual milage.
