Default unplugged o2 sensor, and no CEL

My car is a 93 civic with a gsr engine. P06 chipped to run a stock ITR program. I dont' get it. I was planning on changing the o2 sensor to gain better gas mileage and just played around with it, and it didnt even give a CEL when unplugged. I'm pretty sure I wired it right like 2 yrs ago for the 4 wire sensor. Can a P06 communicate with a 4 wire o2 sensor?

o ya.. on a side note, my car takes forever to warm up (ever since i put the hondata IM gasket). Sometimes it will never warm up when its cold outside. Might this be the reason why it doesn't give a CEL when cold? thanks
