Uberdataa help, Idle surge!!!!!
I just finished my turbo kit so I decided to start the car. I wanted to take it around the block w/ the wastegate unhooked to make sure the car was running right stock. With the uberdata in, it surges from 500 to 1200 rpm contantly. I hook my stock ecu back up and it'll idle fine. I'm using the stock p06 bin. on my d16y7 obd2b car. Everything seems fine. The only thing I can think of is the obd2b to obd1 harness is a obd2a to obd1. Anyone please chime in even if you have the slightest clue. I really wanna boost.

Only thing I can think of right now is... do you have a 2-wire or 3-wire AICV?
if you have a 3-wire you need to convert to a 2-wire to run an OBD1 ECU.
what happens if you remove J1?
(drops it back to stock programming)

Damn I guess i'll try to find a 2 wire iacv. I hope thats it. The idle is super annoying and I can't drive like that. If anyone else know please let me know.

Seems as how a P06 has got no clue on what a 3-wire IACV is, nor how to control it, I'd say to get a 2-wire pronto.
