crazy idle after pulling chip from ecu- NOT a vacuum leak
car: 98 hatch
engine: 94 gsr
computer: obd1 p72, obd2a-1 jumper harness
okay i took the chip out of my obd1 p72 and now i have a horrible idle. start the car and it stays at ~2500.
it is NOT like a vacuum leak, it just stays there. rolling idle is damn near 3 grand
idle is set correctly (iacv unplugged it idles perfectly at ~700), fitv is blocked off. so its not leaking. no surging idle, no vacuum leaks.
any ideas?
beer and thanks for any good ideas or related experiences
