Default type R shocks vs GSR

Ok I have a 93 civic hb w/b16. I have ITR lower control arms and shocks in the back which I did about a year ago w/ the rear disc conversion.
I still have tokico blues in the front.
What I am wondering is if the factory GSR FRONT shock is the same dampening or performance as the type R front shock?
I know it will fit thats not a problem.

The style... Yes. The dampering i'm sure it's different.
