Re: type r motor in an eg? (WiDeBoDyEK)
I ran a 14.3 with a blown clutch, blown struts, crushed header, shitty tires, untuned (p28 program runs real rich and lean @ odd spots).
This was all in the heavest hatch the SI (Weighed in @ about 2350 that day and I'm 200 pounds).

Yeah if you do a search under my user name, B18C5-EH2, and select recent and then archived topics you will find my times, set-up, and tech-related info for the Type R swap into the 1992-1995 Civic.
Quickly though I have ran 13.3@101mph on baby slicks in a 1992 CX hatch weighing in at 2040lbs. before tuning.
12's are well within reach since I've had it tuned if I can just nail, a good 1.8 60 footer on some GOOD slicks.
The car is also awesome for auto-X as well.
Search - you'll find tons of info my friend.
