another case where there are wayyyy too many variables to "predict" the winner of a race? Quarter mile or track driven.....

it deepends on the driver. an s2000 has more power but is also heavier than an eg.
if the eg is an si it should be pretty even but any of the low model eg's (cx & vx)
i think the eg would take it. also the s is very picky when it comes to launching you have to rev it high to get a solid launch but you will run th risk of getting a lot of wheel spin.

both of my friends raced...one with an S2K and the other with a B16 EF hatch, (besides some cheap Tanabe knock-off) the hatch was gutted and put like 3-4 cars on the S2K. there are too many variables to decide.

I thought that S2k's were difficult to launch? I remember reading somewhere that they had pretty fragile drivetrains. Either you bog off the line, or risk breaking something.
