Default turn key to on and nothing.

Ok so here is the deal i just swaped a b20 vtec into my 00si and when i try to turn the key to the on position, to prime the fuel i get nothing. Just the brake light comes on. and then if i try to start the car still nothing besides the cooling fan starts up. I know the battery is good and my grounds are good. i am using an obd1 ecu with the proper conversion harness. what could my problem be?

Doesn't really work that way. You'd be more interested in the max. voltage drop across the individual ground cable....which is something like .01v.

But if grounds are something you suspect...clean'em. It should be a part of normal maintenance. There aren't but what, 4 or 5 of them.

When you click the key 'on', do the injectors/ECU get battery voltage? If they don't, troubleshoot that first. The ECU needs battery voltage in order for it turn the Fuel Pump Control wire on to activate the fuel pump.

What ECU are you using? I only posted the schematics for the 99Si since you didnt include more info with your original post. Not all ECU's use A16 for fuel pump control...

could be the ignition switch or the harness that it attaches to.
