Default Turbo on stock b16

I was just wondering If boosting a b16z6 with stock components, is a bad idea.

Ahhhhh..... the ultra-rare B16Z6. As you remove it from the engine bay of doom, you have to replace it with a bag of sandblaster media.

poor guy (op)
the correct answer is yes you can turbo it, if its a B series I would keep it around or under 300whp if its a stock motor, and about or under 250whp for a D series due to the smaller rods. the amount of boost doesn't mean ****, every turbo flows a different amount of air per lb of boost and every motors cylinder head flows a diff cfm of air as well, thats why I can run 17lbs on a stock ls motor and not really have any issues with it.

go by whp goals.

damnit mrharmonic i wanted to go on with the joke

anyways you ARE upgrading the fuel system when you turbo? (and only referring to keeping the motor itself as stock

if not your not gonna get far with the stock fuel system (and im only meaning like 5 psi max before i'd worry about your injectors)

no point in turboing a car with stock injectors, get some $75 dsm's and a walbro 255lph and have it tuned and it will be dialed.

You run 250whp on a stock D and you have yourself a ticking time bomb.
