b16 turbo need help....

Default b16 turbo need help....

going turbo on a stock b16a2 not trying to build a race car here just a daily driver with a little sneeze.... running a t3 setup up with two head gaskets was wondering if i should go with ls pistons or should i stay with the stock ones? sorry if I seem dumb founded lol new to the turbo game.....any help would be greatly appreciated....thanks inadvance.

what kind of power are you wanting out of your stock b16?

also, your stock b16 pistons will be fine, just get a good tune on it and you'll be good

well stock b series internals can withstand around 300hp give or take some on different setups, but any time I have seen stock b16's with a good tune they put out 275whp pretty decently. I had a turbo b16, but didn't get to dyno it, mine had blew a ring in a week and a half. Just make sure you have a good tune and you'll be good.

If you're rebuilding it anyway, then go with the LS pistons. Otherwise use the B16 pistons until they break. I just built a B16 -w- LS pistons for boost; it's a great little street motor. I'd also skip the extra head gasket.

thanks a ton for the feedback gonna just stay with the stock setup with a nice tune....
