with the amount of money u have to spend, u can buld your motor with internals and piece together a custom turbo kit and have 400+ hp on stock sleeves, plus the internal gate on the edelbrock system will hurt ya later on if u want to increase boost, which im sure ya will

I don't think he's up to it, or would care to have that much HP to DD. Besides, I highly doubt he can install that **** himself, so the extra $$ saved wouldn't help much.

Re: (95_acc0rd)
alright so your saying if i put a turbo on my stock engine it will hurt me in the long run. I have a friend that races civic and will do work for free for me. so what do i have to do to my engine to make it reliable with turbo for under $4500

Re: (crazyness462)
start off with rods/pistons, bore the block .5mm over, a port/polish job wouldnt hurt but u dont need it, new bearings and all the new gaskets/seals along with assembly....
if you go to the forced induction section you'll learn alot about setups just like yours making good hp and being reliable, most of the cars in the section are daily driven setups
