what iw the purpose of dropping your gas tank to put the interior in? all you need to do is drill all the seat brackets out and weld the japanese brackets on. don't drill all the way you might put a hole in you're gas tank

Re: Trying to put in my JDM SiR interior in my 92 Si. (eg6si)
Because in this one certain place I need to drill. I want to make sure that I am not gonna be drilling into my gas tank. Also the reason I am having to drill new holes is because the JDM SiR interior brackets are in different locations than our stock seats brackets. And the brackets that they send you have to be welded in or Drill new holes and bolt the **** down. SO once again I am asking does anyone have a picture or diagram that shows the design of the gas tank for a 92-95 civic hatch.

i believe you're talking about the center brackets, you have plenty of clearence, you can use 1/2" self taping screws, it'll work fine, but i'd rather weld
