trying to install a type r cable on a gsr. HELP!
I have a gsr-b18c and im trying to install a type r TB cable and bracket since i have a skunk2 intake mani. My problem is that the the throttle link keeps rubbing and sticking against the TB. Plenty of people claim to be running skunk2 IM/Type r cable n' bracket/Gsr TB. I'm wondering how you guys got it done.

I didnt even try to use the gsr throttle pully. I robbed a throttle pully off another(any non gsr will work) motor I had laying around and used that on the gsr throttle body and everything fit fine. Same setup gsr swap with skunk2 IM and type R throttle cable. Though now i will prob get a type R throttle body afterall.

for anyone that might ever care. What i had to do was get rid of the bottom mounting point for the gsr throttle body cable mounting plate. It gets in the way of the throttle link. All you have to do is flip the throttle link around, drill out the bottom mounting point so it doesnt get in the way and just hook up the cable.
I have an issue of it sticking, but in the mean time i wont have to get a new Throttle body just to run the type r cable.
