Default Trying to add some more HP. suggestions?

I have a 95 civic ex with a ZC motor swap. Boosted at 8ibs and I'm at 293hp. What can I do to add a good 50+?

Maybe you should list all of your mods. I have a hard time believing a stock bottom end ZC can handle almost 300 without shattering sleeves.

Try turning up your pounds of VTEC.

Unless you bought the car built like this I'm having a hard time believing you don't have an idea on what you would need to do to get the additional power you will need.

IMO it's a matter of time before you snap a rod if your're REALLY running nearly 300lbs on a stock engine. If the bottom end is built then get a retune and make sure you turbo and injectors are capable.

But really? Not enough info here to advise you properly.

or if you dont care if the engine blows... could always dump a 50 shot of NOS... not advisable, but it would work... once atlease

WATCH OUT GUYS, WE GOT SOME JDM-ness
Yeah, OP likely didn't build it (bought it instead). He does seem to own a boosted 95 EX coupe though on Rota's.
My google search can support my own statement.

@OP, do you know what are the internals of your engine and if the ECU is chipped or running a standalone?

This thread would make more sense in forced induction section or D-series.org

I actually did buy the car how it is. Dude I got it from sold it $1700, idk why the dude was sellin it so low but I got a steal. Seen the dyno sheet for it and it was at 293@6800. Internally I'm not sure what's done to the motor besides eagle pistons.

Lol, i think you meant eagle rods. I believe those are safe for 300+
For a boosted Civic that low, you have to find out the problem with it.
Whether it be mechanical, electrical, or legal.

Until you know where you stand, there's no way to tell you how to make more power (other than the hopelessly obvious suggestions). Figure out your setup and get back to us. Even a few pictures would give us something to work from...

what i would do is, if you have a copy of the dyno sheet, there may be the shop that did it listed on ot, of if you know where it was tuned talk to them, they might be able to point you in the right direction

something is definitely wrong.. matter of time before something goes wrong, did the seller have any sort of paperwork for work being done to it?

Ni pics in your garage. Even still you need to give US the info on the mods done to the engine and the full turbo specs/part. Can't help you do anything without that info to start.

OP, you need to take off the head and take a picture of the deck, as well as a close-up of the pistons. We might be able to point you in the right direction from there.

No way you're making more than 300 safely on stock sleeves. I have a hard time believing you're on stock sleeves right now. We just need more information.
