Used to have hxs on azenis and they have never rubbed...but ever since i got the 15" mf10s w/ azenis they seem to rub more than the average civic. My drop are just Eibach Sportlines! WHY! Uneven pavement would cause like a slight rub against the fender....i hate driving fast on freeways. My shocks are totally blown...maybe thats the problem...sounds like i hit a landmine every time i hit a dip or a hole. *BBBOOOOMMM*

By the way is the answer true or false?

the car won't be lower, but the rolling diameter/tire width may be larger, so it will rub more.

If you are talking the Azenis sports.....looks at the sizes...the 15" is slightly less in diamter but .5" wider.

Bigger rims fill the wheel well, it doesnt lower the car (opposite actually). Also check the offset of the rims, might be rubbing 'cuz of that. They might stick out too much.

If you think about it, just divide your rim size by 2, and that's how high your car is off the ground from the axels+tire size... How can you ask this question....? The answer is pretty obvious... if you put 10" wheels on your car it would be really low... monster truck wheels would lift it really high.... get the idea?

ok this should solve your prob it did mine i have a 96 hatch and have 15 inch rotas with falken azanies and my hatch is slaaaaaaamed with skunk 2 coil overs i just grind off the lip on the inside of the fender off and then i never rubbed again just dont turn really fast like on a drive way going up at an angle then you will rub

It could also be rubbing because of the tire width. Like if before you were running 205's and now say 215's on the same wheel it might rub. If you were running 14's with 50 series tires and now 15's with 50 series your tires would "tuck" or just be a longer distance in diameter.

will my springs loose there elasticity or be ruined if i have them on stock struts?
my struts are ok now but with the ride height its at right now the struts will soon wear. will my springs as well?
