try your looking for vacuum lines coming from your engine to your tranny. i'm not sure about the honda auto but with gm there is a vacuum modulator that connects to the engine to cause the tranny to downshift under load.

do you mean the fluids GONE? or it's dripping? Also a bang and white smoke is never good...probably not tranny related dude Check for compression cuz you MAY have blew something in your motor...ie bent valves, blew piston.

Also what type of vehicle/motor?

the engine runs fine i just cant go anywhere , when i put the tranny fluid in it drains out like water. cant see where

edit: when you put it into gear it jumps like your about to go then you lose all of the fluid

edit: just contiunes to rev

axles are fine , i have everything tak'n apart from the tranny, everything but this one square bolt i cant take off on the mount. i think ill just cut it off and buy a new one. ill drop the tranny replace the rear main seal and see if this fixes the fluid leak. ill take a look at what i can see inside the transmission.

edit: in your opion could it be the seal? will the tranny go without fluid?

the rear main seal has noting to do with tranny fluid. the rear main seals the crankcase at the at flywheel/oil pan from engine oil leaking out. if your leaking tranny fluid why are you looking at the rear main?

would a broken axle cause white smoke to exit the vehical and engine?

edit: the engine would spin from an axle but no smoke would of been present. remeber the tranny fluid leaks out when you put it into gear
