tranny's shifting is hesitating
Hi, my auto tranny's shitfing is hesitating really badly. The thing is, it just started this evening, and I flushed the fluid on wednesday. I used the three quarts that Honda recommends and the honda fluid. I checked the fluid as best I could and it appears to be perfectly full...whats going on here?
Being more specific, what's happening is that from first to second, the car feels like it wants to "pop" into gear but its sticking there in gear when the car is obviously over-revving..The tranny is old (191k on the car) but it JUST started this, and what's strange is that I just changed the fluid.
I'm moving to San Diego on monday and need to get my car there! Help!

Re: tranny's shifting is hesitating (civicmon)
i'm still having slight problems with it, but its not as bad as it was. I flushed out the fluid, but replaced it with synthetic ATF from Pennzoil, as the Honda dealer is closed today.
What I really think that did it, was the Slick-50 ATF additive, it didn't happen before I put the additive in, and now I gotta flush the trans out when I get to SD. Word to the wise, don't use it.
Anyone else make the same mistake? If not, heads up.
