Tranny Questions?
Im not sure how to ask this but if your in gear and you could move the stick left and right like its on neutral is something wrong with the tranny? Is it the clutch?
Is it lack of tranny fluid? What should i check? Its not my car though but i test drive it to see what she was trying to tell me. Im not sure if this is normal or not. But mine is not like that.
The car run fine and all but it just feels weird that in every gears i could move the stick left to right like its in neutral while im driving. Well i hope you guys could help me out. Sorry if i cant really explain what the problem is.. I worry something like that could lead to bigger problems thats all. Thanks

Re: Tranny Questions? (girliehonda)
It's pretty much the nature of the beast... You can try urethane bushings to see if it'll remove some of the slop in your shifter... I had my wife row through the gears while I was under the car inspecting the linkage last night and there's quite a bit of movement in the front bushing (tranny end) of the stabilizer arm.

If it is really sloppy, the first thing I would inspect would be the roll pin that secures the linkage to the change shaft in the transmission.
