Default Tranny problems?

Ok so Im trying to figure out what might be wrong here. In low gear 1,2,3...and maybe others, there is a noise that sounds somewhat like a rollercoaster as its pulling you to the top of a drop. I say maybe others because I may just not be able to hear it in 4th and 5th. Otherwise the car shifts and drives fine.

main input shaft bearing.

I'd just look for a good used tranny to buy instead of paying for the rebuild.

When I was uneducated, I rebuilt my EX tranny for 1100
