tranny problem please help

tranny problem please help

I have a 1994 Honda Civic Ex with a B16a1 swap and when i am doin about 100 or over it pops out of fith gear and when its idealing it makes a scraping or grinding noise in the tranny. thanks for any help

The rattling is the Input Shaft Bearing. That one has been discussed before.
The second one.. popping out of gear over 100mph? First off, why are you even going that fast, and second, its a Main Shaft Bearing.

those problems can usually turn into larger ones in the long run... baby the car as much as possible.

to the above poster, lets not be too critical... we all like to speed sometimes

ISB or TOB for the noise at idle, and loose shifter stabilizer rod, bad shifter stabilizer bushing, bent shift fork, bad motor or tranny mount, or main shaft bearing for the popping out of 5th.
