For real...make sure you know what it is actually coming from before you rip that **** part? So did you use the LS tranny too?
I had a tranny leak for like 3 months...and I couldn't ******* figure WHERE that **** was coming from that it would leak soo much out in one day. Come to find out....one of the return lines to the tranny.....well where you bolt it down...there was just a little bit of grit that i guess i didnt sand down or clean off after the swap and when i tightened it down...it let fluid in the tranny so it worked...but i never noticed that from that minute gap tranny fluid was just draining out and runing down the side ...so the WHOLE time I was thinking it was my input shaft seals. I had the car up like 3 different times...had 2 other buddies down there trying to help me find WHERE it would come from.
Try and clean it to get all the oil and dirt off....and then turn the car on....for like 5 to 10 min and then look...put some cardboard down to try and look to see in which area it is coming from...go from there. good luck
