How to check the Y21 tranny fluid level
How to check the Y21 tranny (JDM B16A tranny) fluid level?it was leaking a little bit due to loose drain screw.i have tightened it but i am not sure how much it was being leaking and also how much amount of tranny fluid do i need to refill?

just take the fill plug out, put a small funnel with a tube in there and fill it until it starts to have the excess coming out.

yes sir.i refilled the tranny flulid until it over flow from the refill plug.thanks for the advise.i guess i would have to do it the correct way.there is no short cut

that is the correct way, there is no short cuts. you can't check the fluid level on a manual tranny.
especially when changing the fluid, you remove the drain plug, dump the fluid, replace plug, remove fill plug, and add until fluid comes out, this is how it's done.
