i have a 97 ek with the stock d16y7 and 5 speed trans. Lately my tranny started to make weird noises. In neturl there is a tapping noise then when i push the clutch in it stops. then i will get it up to like 3000rpm it makes a loud chattering noise i shift to second and the same thing. I took it to my homies and he said it was the throe out berring so i did a complete clutch job. no luck though same **** as before. I posted this because mony is tight and this is my only car so if i cant fix it then i need a new trans.I know h-t isnt aamco but any help would be great.
