Well I was putting on my Transmission Housing my Shift pieace shaft pops through the housing making a small hole. I am just trying to figure out am i srewed and does the shaft go into the tranny. it seems that it will not and if i just put quick steal over the hole will i be OK cause it seems to shift fine but i cant tell for sure sine i don't have a car right now. The motor is a B18C if that helps.
i have some pics but cant seem to put them on.

i did the same mistake... u must have used the bolts to get the cases together. If i were u, i'd just get a new housing. Its roughly 300+ from the dealer.
