Default tranny

is there a difference between a tranny from a ex and a dx if so what is the difference

all i know is the ex is the better tranny. i'm not too sure but i believe the dx has longer gears.

The internals are the difference. In a nutshell, EX manual transmissions have larger bearings and shorter gear ratios than DX manual transmissions.
