Toyo T1-s Vs Azenis
I'm looking at finally getting some tires. I can get both of these tires for exactly the same price. The determining factor is dry/wet grip, treadwear, and overall performance.
Toyo T1-s
Azenis

What type of conditions are the T1's good for? All weather, dry, rain, etc? Also whats the usual price range of these for each tire?
If there better then Azenis then i might go with them instead.
Wow now that i look at the threading on the T1's they look mean, anyone with experience like to talk about them?

The Toyo T1-S are very good in the wet... and that's about it.
The Azenis grip hard in the wet as well as unbelievable traction in the dry. I think this is no contest.
Ranking, best to worst: (slash means about even)
Dry smooth road grip:
Azenis, T1s/S03, Neovas, ES100
bumpy dry mountain road grip: (SO3's and Azenis skitter and lose grip)
T1s, Neovas, SO3/Azenis, ES100
Wet grip (with puddles):
T1s, SO3, Neovas, ES100, Azenis
Response and turn-in: <- (The Pilot SX-GTs ruled this)
Neovas, SO3, Azenis, ES100, T1s
Ride quality
T1s, ES100, Neovas, SO3, Azenis (budda budda)
Freeway noise
SO3/ES100/T1s, Neovas, Azenis (Neovas hum, Azenis roar)
Squealing (quiet when sliding = nobody notices if you slide around )
Azenis, SO3, ES100, Neovas, T1s (The Azenis are remarkably quiet, T1s's howl)
Weight
T1s/Neovas/ES100, SO3, Azenis (oink)

I just bought a set to replace the so3s on the car now. I'm hoping to get a little more life out of the t1s. I'll have them mounted in the next few day i hope, i'll post a review then.
Here is a crappy pic. But yes the tread pattern does look good if that's your thing.

I don't know about the Azenis since I've never used them. However, I can tell you the Toyo T1-S's are great in both the dry/wet & they're one of the lightest tires on the market. I'm on my 4th set (2 on the S2000 & 2 on the M) of these bad boys & absolutely loving it. Here are some pics of the tread on my car:

Dont have any experience with the toyo's. Get Azenis if your looking for a real good dry condition tire. They are sticky as hell. Another good thing about azenis is that they are good till the last drop of tread, unlike some tires that lose performance as the miles on them go up. Azenia are just as good with 90% tread as 30% tread. They only thing i dont like about azenis is driving in the rain.

They are Great! Conditions: grip in all weather. Expect to pay around 100 a tire for 16's.
I have never had a set of Azenis, but my buddy swears by them. I love my T1-S. tread wear is 280. traction AA. Grippy as all hell. Ive been driving on them for about a week now. You can take a sharp bend at 70 no problem.
