Default Torque Vtec Solenoid

how tight to tighten the bolts on the vtec selenoid, cuz im replacing the gasket

5-7 ftlbs.

basically hand tight with a 1/4" drive ratchet. You don't need to use lots of force, the rubber gasket seals not how tight you make the bolts.

Same with the valve cover bolts. Don't over tighten them, they will snap. You can always tighten a little more of it leaks.
