vtec gasket leak

Default vtec gasket leak

hello guys


i need help please

i found leakage under the vtec i open it and i didn't find any gasket or maybe there because there is a filter on it
but it was flat .

so i didn't think its damaged i just put some silicon then i replace it back

but still same again leaking so my question is should i buy a new gasket and replace it or there is any solution

Engine? The solenoid has two gaskets. Replace both. Alternatively, seal both, torque bolts to spec, and let the sealant set a day before driving the car.

which engine? the distributor o-ring also is a common leak located right next to the vtec solonoid.

Very important here. Over torque the bolts and it can leak.

thanks ron could u please post a diagram of the vtec gaskets so i know how to get it my car is 1999 civic vti 4 doors d16

it can leak from the inside of the dizzy, there is a seal on the inside you can get from partstrain.com
