Default top end power is MIA (vids included)

ok, so i've been noticing a lack of top end power in my built d16... it has 10.5 cr, pnp head, comp stg 2 cam, i/h/e... stock ecu/fuel

here are a couple of vids (to give an idea):

http://www.imagestation.com/pi...7.mpg

http://www.imagestation.com/pi...f.mpg

(right click>save as)

its almost as though the car just has no gusto... i'm lost.

frankly, the car should turn better times than it does (a y7/y8 mini-me with all stock parts runs the 1/8th 1 second faster than me) (and the car runs the 1/8th the same now as it did when it was bone stock, ET and MPH)

any ideas?

i think it more just sounds like it pulls hard... the car is incredibly gutless.

but after talking to civiclx on PM's for a while last night, it may turn out that the CEL that i thought had no bearing on power, may actually be hindering it quite a bit.

yeah trust me, its almost to the point of being ridiculous, when i swapped my ex head back to a dx head there was hella gain, even though i was a turboed minime, i only walked a dx, now i walked a gt, so im sure that damn fuel tank pressure sensor was f-ing up the fuel pressure

it just seems so strange that that sensor would control the fuel pressure.... i've always been under the impression that fuel pressure was a mechanically regulated value
